At  Dublin Airport your guide and concierge will meet you in the arrivals hall and bring you out to your luxury transport.   Travel through the countryside of Kildare, the horse racing capital of Ireland, and stop for refreshment at a private manor house whose walls incorporate an ancient abbey.  A light lunch in the medieval city of Kilkenny and early afternoon arrival at Mount Juliet,  once the Earl of Carrick's great mansion on the banks of the River Nore.  The afternoon is to relax, enjoy the amenities of the hotel and become acclimatised to Irish time (the Irish motto is that when god made time he made plenty of it.)
