ROSSNAREE
HOUSE, Aisling Law

| This remarkable mansion is set overlooking the River Boyne and Newgrange,
the oldest building in the world - a pagan tumulus and temple more than
5,000 years old. Golf, cycling, fishing and tennis are all available on
the estate or within 15 minutes. Dublin Airport is just under 1 hour away
(32 Miles). Nearly 200 years ago a traveler wrote: "Truth to say,
nature has done more for it than we could have done; and if it is a trifle
overgrown and rough and rank, it could hardly be more beautiful...an
idyllic place to sit and read, or sew, or have tea!" Directions: From Dublin, N2 north towards Slane. Right at brown sign to Newgrange (Brϊ na Boinne) on Donore road. Sharp bend, white gates to house on left. Children welcome. Open all year except Christmas. 2 doubles; 1 twin, with private bath. |
