evening head down the road to Alix Gardner's Cookery School for a private
practical masterclass & dinner. Alix
set up the first practical cookery school in
Ireland
over 20 years ago & has taught more than 2,500 students how to cook. She
learnt how to cook on the massive range in her parent's home in
Tipperary
& trained at The Cordon Bleu & Leith's in
London
but since then has cooked & studied food from
Canton
to
California
& has run Irish food festivals in hotels such as The Hong Kong Mandarin
& The New York Plaza. The class takes place in the informal atmosphere of
the large family kitchen in Alix's Georgian home, just south of Stephen's
Green.

food tour of the city visiting some of the specialist food shops - bakers, colourful
food markets, delicatessens, a cheesemonger, fishmonger, butcher, chocolatier,
and lots more. Meet the dedicated and skilled artisans, the front line troops of
Ireland
's food revolution. Taste
the delicious dishes that have made
Ireland
such a gourmet paradise. This
afternoon enjoy the sites of the city. Your package includes a tour of the
Old Jameson Whiskey Distillery or The Guinness Storehouse.
Tonight dinner is included in a Michelin star restaurant.
