The architecture was much influenced by Sam Stephenson, Ireland's most famous 20th century architects. The house has 2 bedrooms with twin beds, 2 with double beds and one with a king size bed that can be made into twin beds.  There are 4 bathrooms.
The house is surrounded by 0.8 hectares of mature gardens, with a charming stream, small duckpond and paddock.

This is one of the best situated houses in one of the most unspoilt and spectacular valleys in Kerry. It is surrounded by woods and mountains, and overlooks the Roughty River, which is  renowned for its trout and salmon fishing. Excellent facilities for golfing are readily available at several 18-hole courses, including championship courses in Killarney, Waterville, Ballybunion and Cork

There can be few better locations in the country for trekking, hillwalking, horse riding and cycling. Harbours from which to sail and fish are within easy reach

Enjoy peace and tranquility  in close proximity to Kenmare, Killarney and the Muscraí gaeltacht, which have many fine restaurants.

A caretaker lives in an apartment on the property, but guests are unlikely to see him.
