Gardens:

A special feature of this property is the extensive garden which has been well maintained. Most of the garden was probably planted at the time of the construction of the main residence. There are many specimen trees specifically planted for their colourful foliage. The majority of the grounds have been kept to maintain and enhance the natural woodland appearance. However works have been carried out to include some features such as a wooded pond with 2 islands, to encourage wild fowl in to the area.

There is a large walled garden extending to approximately ½ acre surrounded by stone walls, with original glass house to the southern boundary. There are a further 2 paddocks, one suitable for the grazing of a horse and the other presently used for the production of organic vegetables and nursery plants.

Adjacent to the residence there is a grass tennis court and lawned areas with many varieties of rhodedendrons dividing the lawns into quiet and sheltered areas.
