Oranmore Castle
Eclectically designed holiday house in the grounds of 15th century Irish castle. It is situated on the shores of Galway Bay, and commands an amazing westerly view of the Atlantic Ocean. One side of the house overlooks the sea and is constructed of glass, giving not only a panoramic view but also letting much light into the upstairs studio room.
The three double bedrooms are down stairs. The main bathroom, which has a tub, has authentic Balinese doors. There is also an en suite bathroom with a shower. It is well equipped with central heating, washing machines etc. There are wooden floors throughout. Despite its old stone frontage this house has recently been completely renovated and has all the qualities of a modern house. It has many interesting features, and would suit people who like fun places with lots of character. The decoration is original and is homemade rather than interior designer. The village is within walking distance, and has a famous thatched pub with traditional music sessions. It has T.V., cd, etc.
