45 Minutes from Dublin & 10 minutes from Druid's Glen Golf Course, a couple of miles from the sea and 15 minutes from the mountains, this is a charming classical farmhouse.  The home of a retired diplomat, it has recently been taken over by his daughter, a professional portrait painter, who has upgraded the house.  It remains a very comfortable and very stylish house.  However it's style is what what inspired Ralph Lauren, not Ralph Lauren itself.  The decorators phrases are shabby chic, retro charm, .......  So what you have is a large, relaxed and comfortable house, in a very private setting surrounded by glorious gardens.

The beds are comfortable and have new mattresses.   The kitchen is very unfitted, but has everything needed (dishwasher, microwave, oil fired Aga range, gas cooker, fridge, freezer, etc)  and lots of charm.   Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, a single bedroom and 1 bathroom.  Dwnstairs is a drawing room, dining room, kitchen  and downstairs w.c.  

There is a TV and video,  CD sound system. 

The house comes with a gardner and cleaner who live in a cottage in the yard.  Included in the rent is 8 hours cleaning a week.
