Lough Ine Lodge, Skibereen, West Cork

At the entrance of Lough Ine House, one of the most famous beauty spots in West Cork, near Skibbereen,  is the 18th Century Gate Lodge.

A small, cosy & unpretentious house, on the edge of the lough, with wonderful views of the sea, the island and the fields.  

The ground floor is an open plan living room with a large fireplace and a sofa bed, a dining area, a kitchenette and a spiral staircase leading to a twin bedroom overlooking the lough, a single bedroom and a bathroom with basin, W.C, bath and shower.  

For the Golfers, there are many courses to choose from including Bantry Golf Course designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr., which is only 16/18 miles from the Cottage, and the famous Old Head in Kinsale

No Irish  holiday would be complete without Irish Pubs! There are 14 pubs within a 6 mile radius of the house many of which serve excellent food, particularly local Seafood.
