Two delightfully restored cottages on a country lane, close to the Wicklow Mountains, 1
hour from both Dublin and Rosslare. The Lisnavagh Estate has stunning gardens which guests
can enjoy. The area has a wealth of ancient remains - stone age ring forts, dolmens,
medieval castles, ruined abbeys. The Slaney has some good salmon fishing and the nearby
Barrow offers coarse fishing. There is golf at Mount Wolseley, Carlow, Baltinglass,
Shillelagh and Rathsallagh. The houses are close to the long distance path, The Wicklow
Way. Lugnaquilla is the tallest mountain in Leinster and is 20 minutes away.
Accommodation
Each cottage has a double bedroom, a living room with a solid fuel stove (firewood is
supplied), dining room, fully equiped kitchen and shower.
