Built by the descendants of Lord Kenmare (who was the landlord of Killarney) in the 1970s,
this is a unique home. On the edge of the Killarney National Park,two minutes
walk from a hotel with a pool and an excellent restaurtant, this house has wonderful views
and spacious rooms.
It has 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, and 2 single bedrooms. Though only a
10 walk into Killarney, which has restaurants, shops and pubs galore, Kenmare House
is very peaceful. Muckross House, Abbey and Gardens, the castle of Ross and
the Killarney Golf Course are all close by. For some the hotel might be a
little too close, and as you can see the decor is a perhaps little dated, but there is
unlikely to be a better placed house in Ireland for a memorable holiday - book early!!
