"A marvellous
place, mixing elements of Lutyens with New England style into something quite
special...a design jewel"

This is a remarkably tranquil place with lovely views" Alastair Sawday's Special Places to Stay in Ireland
"One of Ireland's 20 most elegant, welcoming and intriguing hotels, B&Bs and Holiday Homes" The Observer, May 2003
The approach is extraordinary and memorable. A twisting track, hardly worthy of the title road, winds down behind a pub. On and on it goes, which is very strange as the sea seems to be all around you. Eventually you come to a beach, onto Derrynane harbour, and a dead end. But there is a gate and through it is the paradise of Iskeroon. The owners live in the main house, across the garden, where they run a small country inn.
Situated just two and a half miles off the Ring of Kerry, you feel you could be 100 miles off the main road, so complete is the peace and tranquility. The semi-tropical garden leads down to the private pier and the crystal-clear, sheltered waters of Derrynane Harbour.
The beauty of Iskeroon is that you can do as much, or as little, as you like. If total relaxation and privacy is what you want, you'll find it here. Iskeroon is also the perfect base from which to explore the most beautiful and interesting part of the Ring of Kerry, The Skelligs & Valentia Island as well as the Dingle and Beara Peninsulas.
