Burren Riding
The Burren, overlooking Galway Bay and the Atlantic, and disected by the road from Ballyvaughan to Lisdoonvarna, is a magical place of bare limestone, little grassy lanes and fascinating scenery.
We offer anything from 4-day and to one hour trail rides along the Green Roads in the magnificent surroundings of North Clare.
On a multi day trek
you’ll be picked up from your accommodation and brought to the stables to meet your mount. You’ll then ride off through the Burren where you will see fantastic views of the Cliffs of Moher, Aran Island and Galway Bay. Every day will bring different scenery, different sites wonderful flora, old famine villages, castles, prehistoric stone forts, medieval castles, and monasteries, valleys, streams and dark caves.
After three hours riding you’ll stop for a packed lunch en route and then carry on for another 3hours. At the end of each day you will be brought for dinner in a local pub or restaurant and then dropped back to your accommodation.
