This is an outstanding house set at the heart of a 1,500 acre estate in the Wicklow
Mountains in pleasant wooded surroundings on the banks of the Annamoe River,
25 miles south of Dublin, steeped in Irish history.
It is a beautiful and secluded house, dating from the
18th century, and was for many years the home of one of the Presidents of Ireland.
The setting is stunning, pure 'Garden of Ireland' scenery of lowland woods and
pastures. The gardens themselves are magnificent, planted with rare shrubs and trees from
all over the world since 1910 which are now magnificently mature, and a renowned water
garden of lakes and waterfalls.
Glendalough House is a spectacular setting for marquee weddings and offers exclusive use of the venue. With extensive amenities within close proximity, i.e. golfing, fishing, walking, it is an ideal property for that special weekend break where you can also enjoy exquisite cuisine prepared by our catering team.

dining room seats 18-20 easily. Guests can make full use of a finely
equipped kitchen, a laundry and a cold room. On the ground floor you'll
find a panelled library/sitting room with a large fireplace, and a hall

Glendalough House is conveniently located within easy driving of some
of the country's leading championship golf courses, The European Club,
Druids Glen and Powerscourt, all within 30 mins of the house with many
more excellent courses nearby. The House can cater for small groups on a
bed and breakfast basis (min 2 night stay) with the option of
dinner. |

15 in great comfort spread
over eight bedrooms with 6 bathrooms.

include:Glendalough House offers its guests a wonderful stay. The house can be rented weekly or weekends for private parties, weddings, functions, meetings and receptions. on a fully-staffed or partially staffed or self-catering basis.
The house has satellite TV, fax and an e-mail service (by request). On summer evenings guests have a gas-fired barbecue to use out in the gorgeous gardens. There is helicopter access to the house, and a security alarm is fitted.
