The freedom offered by our "Go As You Please" programme makes it an excellent holiday choice, allowing you the opportunity to wander around Ireland on an exciting adventure of discovery.  Prices for a 7 day tour with self drive car start from as little as EUR 54 a day  (currency converter)

Go As You Please motoring holidays give you the choice of where and when to stop - at very affordable prices - in more than 2000 Irish Tourist Board approved farmhouses, town and country homes.

We provide you with an accommodation voucher (bed and breakfast in an en-suite room) for each nights stay in Ireland, together with an information-packed colour guide; your passport to the Irish Homes where you will be made very welcome.

Vouchers are accepted for one night or a continuous stay, therefore providing the all-important flexibility and freedom.

Our vouchers are for bed rooms with en-suite or private bathrooms.

B&Bs
Holiday costs shown on this page are calculated on sharing a twin or double bedrooms. Single rooms are available at an extra cost of EUR 18.50  per person per night. Children under 12 years old sharing a room with their parents are subject to a charge of EUR 27.50 per night.  Please note that a supplement of Euro 10.50 per room per night is charged for Dublin B&B's.  

Car Hire
The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 25 years, maximum age is 74 years.  Drivers aged 71 years and over are subject to an insurance surcharge of EUR 25 per day and an insurance excess/deductible of EUR 1300 regardless of vehicle size. Baby seats are available by prior notification at the time of booking at an additional cost of EUR 15 per day.  Additional drivers may be put onto the hire agreement for €15 per day.  There is a EUR 60 drop off charge if you pick up in one location and drop off in another.

DUBLIN 

Go As You Please vouchers are unsuitable for Dublin City and its immediate surrounds due to severe pressure on a limited amount of properties. We suggest choosing hotel accommodation and will be pleased to assist with pre-booking. 

JULY & AUGUST

For the comfort of clients and to ensure that you have wide choice of places to stay, we recommend pre-booking farmhouses, town and country homes during the main holiday periods. You can do this yourself, using the comprehensive guides provided by us, or take advantage of the booking service we provide at a fee of EUR 15 per group per night.

HOW IT WORKS 

We willingly book your first nights stay in Ireland - providing the request is made at the time of booking your holiday - or you can do it yourself from the guides provided in your travel pack.

Once in Ireland we recommend making your own arrangements on a daily basis because it is flexible and more of an adventure. See tiny, storybook villages, where thatched roofed cottages and ancient castles abound. The air is scented by the flavor of peat fires. Nearly every bend in the road affords gorgeous vistas of sky, land and water. The Irish people are charming, welcoming and friendly.

What we do suggest is that you telephone forward each morning to your next chosen house. What usually happens is that your overnight host will offer advice and may even suggest a particular house at your next destination. 

Our program offers accommodation at more than 2,200 private homes located in every part of Ireland. Over 1,600 are members of the Town & Country Homes Association and 600 are with the Irish Farmhouse Holidays Association. All homes offer private bathroom facilities and a full Irish breakfast and are inspected regularly to maintain high standards. With so many homes to choose from, you should not experience problems in finding places to stay unless you are heading to a town where a festival is taking place or Dublin.

PREFER TO STAY IN ONE PLACE?

Many of our customers enjoy being based in one (or two) places for their Irish holiday, allowing them time to explore and to get to know the people - that's not a problem and the same prices apply.
