DROMOLAND CASTLE
Description: Set in the heart of the 1,500 acre Dromoland estate, the old schoolhouse is surrounded by fields and parkland and well away from the public areas around the hotel. Within the estate guests can enjoy an 18 hole golf course, river & lake fishing, horse riding, walking, tennis & clay pigeon shooting. A herd of fallow deer wander freely around the park. Lahinch, Ballybunion and Galway Bay golf courses are within easy reach. Killarney and Tralee are about 70 miles to the South West. The house itself has been completely rebuilt by Lord Inchquin to the highest standards. There are several restaurants in the area and the 5* Relais & Chateau Dromoland Castle hotel is a 15 minute walk (1/2 mile) across Lord Inchquin's private estate. The pubs and shops of Newmarket upon Fergus are 1 mile away. Though Shannon Airport is only 6 miles to the South the house is well away from aircraft disturbance

bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, the other two sharing a bathroom. The bathrooms

The Old Schoolhouse is no longer available. However the Castle is now a hotel.
