Three miles from Skibereen this is a very private cottage set in farmland and open countryside, but close to a side road off the main Skibereen to Clonakilty road. With a very traditional exterior, it has been attractively renovated inside and has white-washed walls, slate floors and open fire and central heating.
It is cosy and comfortable, and has its
own garden. A good base for exploring the beautiful West Cork
region, which boasts some of the most spectacular coastline in the country
around the Mizen Head, Sheep's Head and Beara peninsulas. Attractive coastal
villages, such as Glandore and Castletownsend only a few miles away. Skibbereen
has lots of great shops, pubs and restaurants. Fishing, riding and tennis
locally. Sailing 5 miles. Pub 2 miles.
The sitting room has a dining-area, a
t.v, & open fire. The breakfast room / kitchen has
electirc cooker, washing machine & microwave. Double
bedroom. Shower room/W.C. with toilet and basin. Double sofa-bed (for +1 adult
or +2 children).
