Self Drive Cars

All prices are in Euro and include collision damage waiver and third party insurance. We can arrange pick up and drop off at all ferry ports, major airports, and in several cities around Ireland. Rental Cars cannot be taken off the island of Ireland, but for a small fee they can be hired in the Republic of Ireland and dropped off in Northern Ireland or vice versa. There is no additional charge for picking up at one airport and dropping off at another.  We work with all the main car hire companies in Ireland including Avis, Hertz, Thrifty, Budget, Alamo and the rest to get you the best prices.

RATES INCLUDE:Rental, tax, 3rd Party Insurance, Unlimited Free Mileage, breakdown and recovery cover, Collision damage waiver (to cover damage that may happen to the rental car) with an excess of €700.00 for stick shift groups A-C, €1,200.00  for all others.  Insurance against all damage except the first €100.00 is available for €8.00 a day for groups A-D and €12.00 a day for all other groups.  Insurance does not cover punctures.

DAILY RATES:1/5 of weekly rates for rentals less than 1 week 1/7 of weekly rates for rentals of more than 1 week

Key Rental Requirements:

Those between 23 + 74 with a full unendorsed driver's licence held for a minimum 2 years may drive. Drivers under 25 or over 69 are subject to a daily surcharge of €6.25 per day. Additional drivers are €10.00 per day

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Bookings are provisional until a deposit is received. If no deposit is received prior to 6 weeks before arrival then the  services will be released. Full payment is usually due at time of booking.

Cancellations:

(a) All cancellations must be notified in writing to Country House Tours.

(b) The following Cancellation Charges apply to all bookings -

Up to 4 weeks prior to date of arrival - deposit is returned less €10.00 administration charge

28-7 days prior to date of arrival - 10% plus €10.00 administration charge

less than 7 days prior to date of arrival - 20%.plus €10.00 administration charge

"No show" - 100%

In all events the client will be refunded for any accommodation or services that are re-sold.

Payment by credit card is subject to a 3% service charge
