.Boltown House is 5 miles west of the historic town of Kells, set in rolling County Meath farmland, and less than 50 miles from Dublin city and Airport. The property contains 94 acres of prime grassland (which has produced more than one winning racehorse over the years) and well maintained gardens and grounds. The house is approached by a tree-lined driveway, and is situated on an elevated site, which offers great privacy.

Inside the house, there is a fine entrance hall with well-proportioned reception rooms leading off, with a study and large country kitchen (with oil fired aga) to the rear. Upstairs there is a large bright landing with four large bedrooms and bathrooms.

To the back of the house, there is a large utility area and upstairs a bedroom en-suite, and a bright sitting room. Oil-fired central heating is installed throughout, as well as two open fireplaces and one woodburning stove. The house is furnished with period antique furniture, yet with all the conveniences of modern living.

The surrounding countryside offers lakes and rivers for fishing and boating, and opportunities for hunting and shooting. The region is renowned for its early Christians settlements of Newgrange, Tara and Kells, and is an ideal location to further examine this period. The proximity of Dublin makes it possible to visit the city, its theatres and museums, without difficulty.
