The Coach House

Coach HouseOriginally built to house the coaches of the Mansion House, the building dates back to 1856. It has been completely renovated, restored and converted into two apartments, each sleeping four. Much attention has been made of the finishing and decorations in order to preserve the historic nature of the building. The result has earned a four star rating by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. The Coach House can be used as an annex to the Hamilton Wing with the additional four bedrooms.

Accommodation   The Coach House is two storey and is divided into apartments: Both apartments are fitted with old red tiles and rugs downstairs, and upstairs is close carpeted throughout. There is both oil fired central heating and an immersion heater. Outside each apartment there is a patio area with picnic table and seats.

Coach House 1    Downstairs: Hall; large living room with kitchen and dining area, log stove burner, television, modern kitchen with built-in cupboards, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; boiler room; cloakroom.

Upstairs: Two twinned bedrooms each with bathroom en suite, hot press.

Coach House 2   Downstairs: Hall; living room with kitchen and dining area, log stove burner, television, modern kitchen with built-in cupboards, electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine; boiler room and cloakroom.

Upstairs: Two twinned bedrooms, bathroom with bath and separate shower, hot press.

All bed linen and towels are provided.  Guests are requested to keep the properties clean and tidy. A cleaning service can be provided at extra cost. Pets are allowed at our discretion. Please be aware that Belle Isle is a working farm, with cattle, sheep and pheasants. Guests must undertake to keep pets under control at all times. Damage caused will be charged.

Other Facilities
A tennis court is available to guests.

Firewood can be purchased from the Agent.

Permits for fishing at Belle Isle can be obtained on arrival

Three 17ft Darragh boats with 5hp outboards are available for hire.

Bicycle hire can be arranged, subject to availability.
