Description: Ardtarmon is 12 miles North West of Sligo town, in the heart of Yeats country, on a sandy south facing beach overlooking Sligo Bay. There are numerous beaches nearby, varied coastal, country and forest walks, a golf course, Lissadell house and Drumcliffe churchyard where WB Yeats is buried.
At Ardtarmon Castle
All 5 Apartments south facing - View to Sea - Underfloor Heating - Fridge - Dishwasher. Washing machine and Tumble Dryer are central in the boiler house.
Four apartments are suitable for 2 people and one has 2 double bedrooms and a children's bedroom.
At Artarmon House
The Thatched Cottage: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, sleeps a maximum of 3
The Gate Lodge: 3 bedrooms, 1 shower room, sleeps a maximum of 5
Barn Cottage: 1 bedroom, 1 shower room, sleeps a maximum of 2
The Gate Lodge was built in 1884. It is a compact house with an open fire, electric heating and three bedrooms. It has a secluded and quiet atmosphere.
The Thatched Cottage was the original home of the family and was probably built between 1790 and 1840. It is snug and charming and has two small bedrooms. It has an open fire and oil heating and faces on to the Main House front lawn.
The Barn Cottage is in one half of the Barn, where animals, seed potatoes and hay have been kept in the past. It is the smallest house but suitable for couples with one bedroom and a combined sitting room and kitchenette.
Also available is the Garden Cottage, which is a converted carriage house with a combined sitting room and kitchen and two large bedrooms. The stone work came from a local ruined cottage. There is oil heating with electric back up. Laundry facilities and a payphone are available. Tennis court and table tennis. Bicycles can be hired locally. Sligo town has good shopping and theatre. The thatched cottage has been renovated and set in mature grounds beside a historic country house. The renovated 19th. Century Gate Lodge is set on a mixed farm.

Directions: From Sligo: Take Donegal Road ( N15) 5 miles to Drumcliff. Turn left to Carney (1 mile ). Turn left at top of village
traveling 4.5 miles to Dunleavy's Shop. Turn left towards Raghly traveling 1.5 miles to entrance and Gate Lodge on left among trees. Travel up the avenue to door at the left of the main house.
From Bundoran: Take Sligo road (n15) for 10.5 miles to Grange. Turn right just beyond village. Travel 4.5 miles to sharp T junction. Turn left and then take second turn on the right (0.5mile), towards Raghly. Travel 1.5 miles to entrance and Gate Lodge on left among trees. Travel up avenue to door at the left of main house.
