Having spent weekends in a cottage beside this house for 5 years I can guarantee that there is a wonderfully wide range of activities in the neighbourhood, from exploring the ancient oak forest at Coolatin, attempting to climb Leinster's tallest mountain, visiting the Temple of Isis at Huntington, catching a movie in Carlow, trying to understand the meaning of the several stone age forts and religious centres, or waterskiing at Brittas
